One question: Any advice for companies looking to build their data infrastructure entirely in-house without relying on a hybrid approach with open-source tools? Would love to hear your thoughts on that!

I would say build carefully. In-house can take a lot of time. Leveraging open-source can help because all the tools have great support and communities, plus it can be easier to find people with those skills (it doesn't mean you have to make what you build open). One reason I did this partnered post with DoubleCloud is because their tech allows you to scale faster. Investing in some SaaS vendors to help you with your in-house infra builds could save you a lot of time and money from data people resources over the short and long run.

Also make sure everything you build is warranted and necessary for business success. It takes a lot to build in house so you want to make sure things are used!
